No matter what, I just want to go through some kind of warp core meltdown scenario. Maybe a major chain reaction accident in the Engineering core, or some sci-fi flavored asteroid or phaser collision. The universe is vast. It could happen anywhere at anytime. A stack is still a stack, no matter how cool it looks. So why waste all that energy by building a pontoon bridge to nowhere? That's just mega-frag. I want to warp engine go KABOOM! Now, I don't want a microscopic version of that warp core catastrophe to happen in my living room. So when I play HW2, I make sure the bridge doesn't exist. Sorry for the caps. I suck at typing caps at the actual keyboard. I have to go somewhere and vent. I may or may not put this post into the game's code. Screw it -- I'll just write it and put it in my game folder.
Want to hack? We'll give you the tools to do so with the HW2 setup disk! Install the game, and when Windows asks you what you want to keep, select the disk you installed the original from, the installation it came in, and the installation you installed the "No CD" crack.
Don't want to download the game? Don't download it. Install it from your operating system instead of FTP/HTTP/whatever. To avoid any issues, don't save any files or run any of the game's installers or patches. Just save the original game's.EXE directly to your hard drive as it was on your disk and leave the crackless copy in your temp directory's garbage bin. d2c66b5586
