When I upgraded to the new version, Sage told me that there was an upgrade available. I said that I already had the old version and they said that was not the issue. They said that it was only available to existing customers, and that I needed to upgrade, pay for the upgrade and then return the license. I said that I didn't want to upgrade, I just wanted to continue to use the license that I already had, and they said that I had to upgrade and then return the licence, or they would lose my order.
I am using the vat mtd and I have upgraded to v26.3 and the upgrade was free and I have been able to use the vat mtd features without issue, is it possible the people at Sage are not aware that the vat mtd is free so they have not included something in the vat mtd update to indicate that this has changed?
